Policies & Procedures
Please read before signing up for this tour. Your reservation constitutes acceptance of these policies.
Travelers should be in good health. All tours require walking, climbing steps, and some places have inclines or rocky terrain. We
ask that everyone be able to keep up with the group. Due to the amount of walking/moving we do and the fact that we
sometimes visit remote areas with limited cell service, any persons with health issues requiring any type of special attention or
assistance and/or any equipment such as a walker, wheelchair, scooter, oxygen, etc., it is strongly advised that you do not
participate in the tour.
Each passenger may bring one piece of luggage and one carry-on bag. Due to motor coach restrictions, luggage may not exceed
45 pounds when packed and 62 linear inches (add up the length, width, and height). No hanging bags. A carry-on bag small
enough to fit under your seat or in the overhead compartment may be carried on your person. The motor coach carrier, hotels,
nor myself will not be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles or luggage. For this reason, I recommend adequate
luggage protection. Some of the hotels will have laundry facilities.
We have assigned seating while on the motor coach and rotate seats each day. The seat behind the driver is reserved for the
tour director. Seat rotation gives everyone the opportunity to meet someone new and to have a different view from the coach.
Everyone must rotate seats and there are no exceptions in fairness to all. A single price only represents one seat on the motor
coach.
A typical day on tour is a 6 am wake up call, set your luggage out by 7 am, have breakfast and depart at 8:00. The group will be
updated each evening before the following day as to the schedule. While traveling by motor coach we strive to have a rest
break at 2-3 hours of travel time. There is a rest room on board motor coaches for emergencies between stops.
A deposit of $400 per person is due to reserve the tour. The balance is due 90 days prior to the tour departure.
All tour prices are per person. A single is for one person in a room. A double is for two people in a room with two beds. A triple
is for three people in a room with two beds. A quad is for four people in a room with two beds. We pass along any requests for
rooms close to each other but it is up to the hotel to fulfill such requests based on their availability.
I reserve the right to vary itineraries and substitute facilities, hotels, or events of equal or better quality if necessary. I have
contracted with independent contractors to provide the services on each tour. I, Shannon Spalding, assume no responsibility for
and shall not be liable for any personal injury, property damage or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity
which may be caused by: (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts or omissions of the Suppliers; (2) any defect in or failure of
any vehicle, craft, equipment or instrumentality owned, operated or otherwise used or provided by the Suppliers; [and] (3) any
wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under my control. Every booking is accepted subject
to the conditions imposed by these independent contractors.
If you should have a situation arise that requires you to cancel your trip, the cancellation policy is as follows: If cancellation
notice is received up to 30 days prior to the tour departure there will be a $100 cancellation fee plus any penalties of suppliers
not refundable to me. Reservations are transferable to another person if you should find someone that can take your place on
the tour.
Refunds are not given for attractions, meals, etc. if travelers do not participate while on tour. No refund will be given for leaving
a trip early or arriving late. Unforeseen events and emergencies can arise while on a tour. If you are unable to complete a tour
due to sickness, injury, or situation at home, I will do all that I can to assist you in making whatever arrangements that need to
be made. You are responsible for any expenses incurred. I am not responsible to refund any unused expenses, therefore I do
recommend travel protection. Travel protection plans can include coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, emergency
medical, trip delay, lost/damaged baggage, and more. www.travelguard.com, www.travelexinsurance.com,
www.allianztravelinsurance.com, or your local insurance agent can provide you with adequate coverage.
